Cherry Vanilla protein bars
Enjoy a great pre or post workout snack, also great when you are stuck in meetings and everyone else is snaking on the biscuits and pastries.
What you will need
- 4 scoops of vanilla whey protein
- 2 1/2 cups of silvered almonds
- 1/3 cup flax meal
- 5 or so drops of vanilla essence
- 1/3 cup dried cranberries
- 4-5 tablespoons of water
How to bring it all together
- Pre heat over for
- Add your almonds, flax meal, vanilla essence and cranberries in a food process and pulse until it is well ground.
- Add in water and protein and continue to pulse until all ingredients are blended in.
- Spread mixture onto a baking tray and cook for minutes.
