Consider the following quick tips to get you started:

  • Grazing – eating smaller meals 5 to 7 times a day for fat loss.
  • Thermic effect of feeding can cause a 10 – 15% increase in metabolism.
  • Looking for healthy quick & easy snacks throughout the day. If you grab a quick coffee or energy drink, your just filling your body with a quick hit, then you crash back down and start looking for the next quick fix. This can lead to the Adrenal Fatigue and higher levels of the stress hormone cortisol being released into the body and stored around the stomach leading to that middle-age blow out.

Try the following 10 strategies to better eating:

  1. Plan ahead and pack your lunch and snacks.
  2. Left over dinner makes a great lunch - chicken stir-fry or steak and roast vegies.
  3. Make your breakfast the night before and take it on the train to work - Meat and Nut breakfast - ask your BioSig practitioner about this.
  4. Protein Shakes – not only for Bodybuilders! Protein is key to fat loss.
  5. Primal Protein bars – consider half a bar as a snack on the run.
  6. Tinned Mackerel, Sardines & Salmon - full of EFA.
