Chicken Burgers

Perfect for lunch or dinner, make extra patties for breakfast or for your work lunch the nest day.

What you will need:

800g of chicken mince

1/2 cup of chopped mint

1/2 cup of chopped coriander

1 teaspoon of cumin

1 garlic clove

1 teaspoon of sweet paprika

1 egg

2 avocados

1 tomato

coconut oil

Himalayan sea salt

Rocket and saved zucchini

 

How to bring it all together

  1. In a large mixing bowl combine your chicken mince, herbs and spices, garlic and egg, mix until all the herbs and spices are mixed in evenly.
  2. Separate the mixer into 4 even patties and place them in the fridge for 20 minutes to firm up.
  3. Heat a pan to a medium heat and add a tablespoon of coconut oil, cook each burger for 3-4 minutes on each side or until they have a golden and crispy texture.
  4. Serve with your rocket, avocado, tomato and shaved zucchini salad on the side.
